Job Description

Role Overview

This exciting role is vital in maintaining and expanding the company’s client base, identifying new opportunities for profitable growth. Acting as the primary point of contact for existing clients, the Account Manager ensures that client needs are met efficiently and effectively. Their ability to forge strong relationships, understand client requirements, and deliver tailored solutions is essential for success.

Additionally, the Account Manager is responsible for creating and managing a sales pipeline, maintaining regular communication with customers via phone, email, and in-person meetings, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience in all business interactions.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.
  • Produce customer forecasts and strategies.
  • Prepare accurate estimates for new and existing client IT requirements.
  • Meet and present to customers regularly.
  • Escalate customer issues through the relevant channels.
  • Attend networking events.
  • Generate new business opportunities through telesales from an existing customer database.
  • Work independently to achieve monthly KPIs and sales targets.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in prospecting effectively and managing the entire sales cycle.
  • Stay up to date with new products and services to better serve new and existing customers.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience in a technically focused account management role or previous sales role.
  • Strong relationship-building and management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen – numerate and data-driven.
  • A high level of attention to detail, especially when handling multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
